2026 Theme Weekends
May 15-17 - Victoria Day Weekend
Kick off the camping season in classic South Mountain style. Enjoy crackling campfires, gooey s'mores, and the joy of reconnecting with friends old and new. The long weekend energy sets the tone for an unforgettable summer.
June 26-28 - Pre-Canada Day Bash
Get a head start on the festivities with a cheerful pre Canada Day bash. Float along on the Balloon Wagon Ride, grab a sweet treat at the Cotton Candy Station, and help create a massive Giant Canada Day Card for the whole campground to sign.
July 3-5 - Canada Day Weekend
Celebrate Canada's birthday with a full weekend of patriotic fun. Join the beloved Bike & Pet Parade, enjoy a spectacular evening of fireworks, and dance the night away at the adult dance.
July 10-12 - Nerf War Weekend
Gear up for the ultimate foam dart showdown. Bring your favourite Nerf blaster and safety glasses-we supply the darts. Expect friendly battles, strategy, laughter, and action packed fun for all ages.
July 17-19 - Flashlight Candy Hunt
When the sun goes down, the excitement begins. Kids grab their flashlights and race through the campground in search of hidden treats. During the day, unwind with a colourful and creative colouring contest.
July 24-26 - Christmas in July
Experience the magic of the holidays-sunshine edition. Decorate your trailer, sip something festive, and enjoy a surprise visit from Santa himself. It's a warm weather winter wonderland.
July 31-August 3 - Water Fight & Glow Parade (Civic Holiday Weekend)
Beat the heat with a campground wide water fight (no balloons), then light up the night with our glowing, colourful parade. Add in an adult dance and washer toss, and you've got one of the biggest weekends of the summer.
August 7-9 - Pool Party Weekend
Dive into a weekend of splash filled fun. Enjoy poolside games, friendly competitions, and the legendary cannonball contest. It's the perfect mid summer cool down.
August 14-16 - Corn Boil Weekend
Relax and let us do the cooking. Enjoy free hot dogs and fresh corn, mingle with neighbours, and savour a laid back evening where the only task is to enjoy yourself.
August 21-23 - Halloween Weekend
Spooky fun takes over the park. Decorate your site, dress up in your favourite costume, and enjoy trick or treating all around the campground. A fan favourite weekend full of creativity and candy.
August 28-31 - Birthday Party Weekend
It's everyone's birthday at South Mountain Park. Enjoy a Cotton Candy Station, hands on birthday crafts, and a festive Birthday Wagon Ride. Kids can search the woods for gold wrapped birthday presents hidden throughout the trails. A joyful, colourful celebration for all ages.
September 4-7 - Labour Day Weekend
Close out summer with a bang. Enjoy dazzling fireworks, a lively silent auction, and competitive washer toss tournaments for both kids and adults. A perfect long weekend sendoff.
October 9-12 - Thanksgiving Weekend
Celebrate the beauty of fall with warm drinks, crisp air, and colourful leaves. Enjoy hot chocolate and the beloved South Mountain Park wagon ride as we wrap up another wonderful season together.

Most campground events are planned for Saturdays, however this is subject to change depending on weather.
