Our Nova Scotia campground and RV park located in the Annapolis Valley has ideal weather for enjoying the outdoors and that makes South Mountain Park the ideal destination campground & RV park. Our ponds make a wonderful haven for turtles, frogs, and ducks and create an outdoor playground that will occupy any girl or boy for hours. South Mountain Park has biking and hiking trails amongst the woods, after all we have 110 acres to roam. Gaspereau Lake across the highway is ideal for canoeing, boating and fishing. You can float along Gaspereau Lake for hours and hours and enjoy the stillness of nature.
South Mountain Park Family Camping & RV Resort is ideally located for additional outdoor activities that only the Annapolis Valley can provide. You can go on a wine tour as there are several award winning vineyards just minutes away. We are also central to many, many orchards, farmer's markets, and U-picks.
As you can see, we have the best of all worlds at this ideal Annapolis Valley campground, activities and interacting with other campers, escaping and exploring mother nature, fitting in some outdoor exercise, heading out into the Annapolis Valley and exploring vineyards, picking fruit and berries, attending farmers markets, or heading into Kentville, New Minas or Wolfville. We support a local Kinsmen run Drive-In (just minutes away) by listing time and movies playing every weekend.

"Fun things to do around the campground"
Swimming Pool - This spacious 500,000 liter pool has a deep end perfect for those cannon balls. Pool side loungers ensure that everyone has fun in the sun. The pool is heated with solar panels and a wood burning boiler for those cooler nights.
Splash Pad - Jump and play in our new splash pad, the perfect way to cool off on those hot days. The in-ground water jets cycle through making this one exciting way to play in the water.
Playgrounds - We boast two separate playgrounds here at the campground. You are never too far from the fun.
Paddle Boats - The campground has three ponds teeming with wildlife, enjoy a boat ride on one of our four paddle boats. They are only $4.00 for half and hour, and they seat two people.
Indoor Play Park - The indoor play park is a huge hit with the little ones.
Jump Pad - Good safe fun for all on this inflated jumper. It is 50 feet long and 30 feet wide but only 2 feet off the ground.
Slip and Slide - Our slide is 100 feet long and specially made for our campground. This is one exciting ride.
Froggy Wagon Ride - Join us on our wagon ride around the campground. On this safari adventure try to see how many animals you can spot hiding in the trees.
